Opportunities for Leadership and Learning - Valiente is growing to serve 150 students in 2022. We are looking for teachers with the passion and potential to lead our growth. To support our ambitious development plan, we've cut our school day two hours short every Wednesday to provide time for teachers to come together for training and collaboration and include three weeks of paid Summer PD each year.

Two Full Planning Periods Each Day - We believe a longer school day should include time for teachers to plan, collaborate, and prepare. In our founding year, we will have three teachers assigned to each grade level, guiding two classes of students. This unique structure enables teachers to departmentalize in either ELA/Social Studies or Math/Science and creates additional time for planning. Through weekly observations, collaborative team meetings, and frequent analysis of student performance, we'll provide you with the tools to dramatically accelerate growth in teaching practice. Departmentalization at all Grade Levels - We take academic rigor seriously, which is why all lead teachers work in departments for all grades (5-8), enabling teachers to maximize focus on specific content areas.
